Moving and Shaking

Well hey there, blog world!

That almost felt strange to type, because I have not said anything remotely similar in nearly a month. Change has been upon me, and consuming nearly all of my time. And by change, I mean moving. The past few weeks have been consumed with the packing of boxes, the transferring of internet, the turning in of keys, the signing of leases, and the moving of lots and lots of stuff. I'm talking five car loads, one professional moving company, and many hundreds of trips up and down the stairs.

I know, I know...people move every day, but that doesn't make it any less exhausting. The good new is though, I absolutely LOVE my roommate Amber and I's new place. There are very few things that we don't like about the new apartment, and there are a lot of things that we love. A few of them being walk-in closets, lots of storage space, and a living room so large that we were actually both able to use a part of it for "creative space." That may actually be my absolute favorite thing. I have a space for my writing and my calligraphy and my blogging, and she has a space for her crafting. My creativity has been in hiding for a couple of months now, but I am already feeling inspired again. You can see a little sneak peek of my desk in the picture up there. I will share the entire thing when it's 100% ready for action.

I can't wait to begin coming around a little more regularly. I know I'm going to have to work myself back into the blogging routine very slowly, but I'm positive that I will be back in full force in no time. I can't wait to get plugged back in. I haven't felt much like writing about life, or anything for that matter, lately. The thing about passions though, is even a bad mindset can't prevent you from doing what you love for too long.

That is one thing I'm certain of. :)
